I haven't posted in awhile, I have been super busy trying to get ready for our one and only local craft show that we do each year. We had a very successful day. People were shopping again! Yipee! The last two years our shows have done okay, but not wonderful...yesterday was wonderful! Here are some pictures of our booth and merchandise.

This is one of the arrangements my partner Lisa made. How cute is this!
This is a shot of part of our booth.

Another booth shot. I should have taken "after" shots, when there was hardly anything left!I will add all the craft show pics to the picturetrail site later on this evening.

I also wanted to post some pictures of the craft show we went to a few weeks ago. It was the Covered Bridge Festival at Knoebles amusement park in Elysburg PA. This show is huge and we used to be vendors there .It's a three day show and I just couldn't do it anymore! Three days is a killer! We did get to visit our favorite booths. This is a picture of the Wool Ladies booth.
I buy their hand dyed wool roving every year for my dolls hair. They don't have a web site or I would post it for you. They have beautiful hand knit items using their sheeps wool. Here is another shot of them. Check out their shirts! They hooked the word "Wool " on them! They are such nice ladies!

I also wanted to post a picture of the door box that Firecracker Kid made for me. I have wanted one of these boxes for a long time and no one around here has any. In fact I have never seen one on any doors in our area either! Here is mine.

  |I think Carol and her husband did a fantastic job on this box. I just love it! I can't wait to fill it full of cut greens and holly for the holidays.
Please ignore the fact that the door really really needs a new paint job! That's been on hubby's to do list all summer! He bought paint and it is a awful bright red! I wanted it to be the same burgundy color. How he thought bright red was burgundy, I'll never know! Any way, I guess now the paint job will have to wait till next summer :(

I would like to thank the new followers, I appreciate the fact that you want to read my little blog. I tried to email a couple of you, but for some reason I couldn't get them to go through1 I wish I were a computer whiz, then some of these things I'm trying to do would be sooooo much easier!

I'm going to say good night for now, I have to figure out how to post all the craft show items for this Friday! Wish me luck. I hope you stop back to see what I have to offer and also check out all the other participants to see their fantastic crafts! Hummmmmm, Cha-Ching! It could be an expensive weekend for me, I love buying handmade items.

Have a good evening!

  1. So very glad to hear you had a successful show Wanda - but no doubt - your booth looks amazing!! Think I could have done some major damage!! Hope I get to check in on the online show this weekend - but we've got bunches of things going on....certainly going to try though. Love your new wall box....wish I had a door that would accommodate one. (And good luck getting the right color paint - we had a reddish door once - went to repaint it and must have tried 50 different colors and NONE were close!!) Arghh!!! That's the problem with "red!" Hope your week is off to a great start! Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin

  2. The displays at your booth at the craft show looked amazing. Glad the show was succeaaful. I have to say the door box is a clever idea and one that I haven't seen in awhile. You door doesn't look at all bad in the photos. I wish mine looks as nice. I'm looking forward to the online craft show this coming weekend. I hope it's a huge success. Good luck. By the way, your blog looks super. Very Christmas looking.
